Nov 15 Order

Sandy Autry, Candy Jackson, and Tasha Peterson are scheduled to sort this week. Here's what we'll be getting:

Apples Pink Lady Haven't these been lovely? Local apples are still available at Allred Orchards for those who may be interested.
Bananas
Beans Green Just in time for Thanksgiving.
Broccoli Crowns
Celery I know, we got this last time too, but I thought we'd better have it for Thanksgiving. My mom always says that the secret to dressing (stuffing) that is not gummy is plentyof celery.
Cranberries 'tis the season...
Grapefruit
Kiwi
Lettuce
Mangos
Onions Yellow Yes, I know--we've had a lot of onions lately. However 1) they are good for you, 2) you use them (or CAN use them) in just about everything, 3) these local onions are a great deal and your total onion cost for last delivery and this divery is all of about $.30, so if you really hate them, give them to a friend.
Oranges
Pineapples
Potatoes
Yams Or, as Deby has instructed us all, SWEET POTATOES. Except these are the orange kind that are traditional for Thanksgiving. Don't succumb to the brown sugar and marshmellow goo! There's a reason they are called SWEET potatoes, because they are already sweet. Try something new this year--like braised and mashed, DELICIOUS!
