Cody's Vegetable Quiche

Super Awesome Quiche!!!!!
(I have never liked quiche and I LOVE this. It is a little time consuming, so make sure you have the time, but it is well worth it!)
makes a 9x13 pan

Savory Crumb Crust
1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs (I just make mine in the blender!)
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup raw wheat germ
1/2 cup raw rolled oats
1/4 tsp salt
5-6 dashes of basil
5-6 dashed of marjoram (this totally makes the recipe...if you don't want to buy a bottle until you have tried the recipe call me, I have a ton!)
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine

Mix all dry ingredients well. Drizzle melted butter onto dry ingredients, toss with fork until evenly moistened. Press into your 9x13 pan evenly and thinly up the sides like a pie crust.
Pre-bake at 350* for 10 min.

Quiche Mix
Follow ingredients in order!!!!

1. Cheese- add enough to cover the crust. This will help the crust to not be soggy. I pack the cheese down against the crust pretty well.

2. Filling- a) spinach, 1 lb chopped and steamed. b) onions chopped. c) tomato slices, 2-4 tomatoes sauteed gently in olive oil with basil and dill.

3. Custard- beat 6 eggs and 2 cups milk, pour over the top of all ingredients.

Bake at 375* for 35-45 min or until eggs are cooked (beware that the onions will let off their juice, just watch for the difference between the clear onion juice and runny eggs.)
