I'm not ordering peaches, nectarines and apples right now because you can get better ones from local producers. Last year, I purchased these items from the orchards and transported them to the co-op, but am short on time this year so I'm allowing you all the opportunity to purchase your own. Isn't that kind of me? My favorite place is Allred Orchards at 2109 N University. Their quality is great, prices are VERY reasonable and they are convenient. They open around ten and close at five or when they are out of fruit--whichever comes first. You can buy a bag of fruit from them for $4, a gallon of apple juice for $4 and half bushel boxes of peaches, nectarines, or apples for $10-15. Here's their summer and fall harvest schedule. Each variety will run for approximately 2 weeks from its start date.
