No Spinach

They were out of spinach this morning so that didn't come either. They tried to replace out spinach with bagged iceberg "salad," but I would have NONE of that! I mean really--if any of you are still using iceberg I wholeheartedly encourage you to give it up in favor of a more flavorful, nutritious, and fibrous green. Romaine is great, even green or red leaf lettuce would suffice. Then there is endive, yum. Of course the perennial spinach. For the more adventurous of us, dandelion greens. My point is, iceberg lettuce isn't worth it--branch out my co-op friends. Branch-out.
