They were out of kumquats. Boo-hoo.
If any of you are interested in cases of fruit for yourselves or to give as gifts, let me know. I will find out prices and information for you and am happy to order things in addition to our regular order in two weeks. Please don't call the produce company yourself--although I appreciate you thinking of me and saving me the need to do that, they prefer not to have a lot of people calling and have specifically asked that there be just one contact person for the whole co-op. So I'm happy to do the research for you and let you know. Fresh fruit is a great Christmas gift! Especially when everyone else is giving cookies, brownies, and fudge!
