This coleslaw recipe is simple and super delicious. It is the only coleslaw I like.
1 1/2 pounds shredded green cabbage
1 tsp. salt
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 cup whipping cream (not whipped)
Place shredded cabbage in a covered dish in the fridge for several hours before mixing the salad.
30 minutes before you want to serve it, remove cabbage from the fridge and mix in the other ingredients in the order listed--be sure to stir after each addition.
Chill for 30 minutes and serve.
